A traction drive for an electric bike with motor "Heinzmann"
Němec, Petr ; Huták, Petr (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with a proposal and construction of a DC/DC converter for a control of a DC motor Heinzmann. The DC/DC converter will be used in an electric drive for a bicycle. The proposal of the DC/DC converter is designed for such engine power to avoid fully any human force to drive - pedaling. The work includes informations about the used motor, progress of proposal and dimensioning of the converter - power circuit and control electronics.
Design of a complex HIL simulator of car boot door
Obrtáč, Tomáš ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Spáčil, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis covers the development of complex HIL simulator for the fifth car door. The beginning of the thesis is dedicated to theoretical research in the area of In-the-Loop testing. Practical part describes development of HIL simulator complemented by power electronics part. A simulation environment Matlab/Simulink was used for control design and analysis. Before the beginning of the work was measured signal part of control unit and specific signal sequences were identified. The control was applied on sbRIO device from National Instruments company with the implementation of a model on FPGA. Specific requirements for sensing speed and generation of communication signals lead to creation of unique hardware for application needs. The result of the thesis is complex HIL simulator with intuitive GUI and possibility of simulations a wide range of DC motors.
Mobile devices for movement in dangerous environment
Bartušek, Jakub ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Bilík, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of mobile robot for movement in dangerous environment. The first part of this thesis pays attention on area of mobile robot construction, different types of suitable sensors, motion planning algorithms and robot control. Second part is about construction and design of the robot. Motion planning algorithms are used for this robot and tested in enviroment.
Mobile robot control system
Bugár, Loránt ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelors project is fixated for creating a mobile robot with a real time operating system. The robot control system is based on a microcontroller Arduino with ARM Cortex-m3 processor. The practical part is dealing with resolving the client-server communication with the UDP protocol, also with the identification of the engine from measured data’s by the Simulink and subsequently designing the PI regulator from the identificated data’s. In he last part of the work the focus is giving to solving the communication with I2C bus and using sensors like : accelerometer, ultrasonic sensor, infra sensor, light sensor, hall sensor and usage of a robotic arm. An application is created for controlling the robot and for visualisation of sensor readings..
Laplace transformation in automation
Jakal, Martin ; Zatočilová, Jitka (referee) ; Tomášek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the application of Laplace transform in the control theory. Particularly, the analysis of the optimal control setting for a DC motor is realized by Ziegler-Nichols method. The problem analysis is provided by a Matlab script.
Design of DC motor drive for 3D printer stepper motor drive replacement
Králík, Jan ; Spáčil, Tomáš (referee) ; Chalupa, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to create a module for control DC motor using signals which are used to control a stepper motor. The module will be implemented into existing 3D printer. This work also includes testing of a new drive and its comparison with the prior stepper drive. The thesis also contains comparison of performance of both drives in terms of quality 3D printing.
Control system for DC motors
Mikuláštík, Jiří ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design of a control system for DC engines MCCRA12MP3N and MCCRA12MP. This system will be used to control a chassis and will allow smooth speed control of it. Serial interface will also be able to receive the desired and send out the current RPM values.
Control units for small DC motors with universal software interface
Hlouš, Jaroslav ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design and implementation of the control unit for DC motors. Design is based on the concept of universal communication interface, which has been designed for simplification of communication between individual control systems. Control unit has been realized for DC motors within supply voltage range from 6 to 48 V, and maximal continuous current 2,5 A. For realization, we have used microcontroller LPC2103, and full bridge driver TLE 6209. In the thesis, we have described particular developmental steps of the control unit.
Firmware for the Robotic Vehicle
Otava, Lukáš ; Sojka,, Michal (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is focused on a firmware for robotic vehicle based on the ARM Cortex-M3 architecture that is running a real-time operating system (RTOS). Theoretical part describes available solutions of embedded RTOS and concrete HW implementation of the robotic vehicle. There is also comparison of the three selected RTOS with their measurements. Result of this thesis is base firmware compounded by a program modules that controls HW parts. There is also a sample PC and firmware application that extends base firmware. This sample application is able to communicate with robotic vehicle, control wheel motion and measure process data.
MATLAB/Simulink Model Based Design Using C2000 Microcontrollers
Šoupal, Ondřej ; Ctibor, Jiří (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to explore possibilities of rapid control prototyping, describe the concept of creating the software application in MATLAB/Simulink environment with use for development kit Texas instruments LaunchPad and create an application for DC and induction motor control in this environment. This work describes the application for unipolar/bipolar control H-Bridge of power converter for DC motor, measurement of output currents, speed and its displaying in real time using serial control interface. This thesis also desribes scalar and vector control of induction motor. All software applications with measurements are created in MATLAB/Simulink and attached to the thesis.
